After being affected by the horrendous Chernobyl nuclear fallout, fourteen children were given the chance to enjoy the sights of Portland, Dorset. Families in both Portland and Weymouth have been hosting for the children for a month now. The holiday has proved to be action packed with the children enjoying a trip to London as well as all of the local attractions and countryside.

The youngsters were even treated to a pamper night as well as a visit to the hairdresser and the dentist. That was followed by a tour of Portland in a luxury stretch limousine. It truly has been a trip of a lifetime for the children who are aged from eight to ten. Their trip ends on July 2nd and it has certainly proven to be an unforgettable experience.
Barclays Bank even sponsored the children’s day out at Crealy Park. A trip to Monkey World, Dorchester Museum, Abbotsbury Swannery and various theme parks have also been included in the youngsters stay.

The trip in the stretch limousine enabled the children to see the best of Portland in the evening. Children love limousines as they make them feel important and it adds a lot of excitement to an evening out. Overall this amazing trip has definitely been a trip of a lifetime for the children!
